February sees continued development progress at Orchard Grove as work advances across several areas of the site. This month you can see earthworks taking place in Phase 2, with muck-away operations underway as teams prepare the ground for future development.
Work is progressing on the pelican crossing on Egremont Road, with traffic lights being brought into operation to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility across this key route.
To complete essential infrastructure improvements, a road closure remains in place along Merton Road whilst external works are finished for one of the developers. Later in February, this closure will move to Howgate Close to enable drainage connection work, block paving, and kerb remedial work to be completed.
These works represent important steps in delivering the infrastructure and connections that will serve the growing community.
