The under 8’s team at North Curry Football Club have smart new kit, thanks to support from Bovis Homes, which is part of Vistry Group and a member of the Orchard Grove Consortium.
Based at White Street Sports Ground and North Curry Playing Fields in North Curry, plus Fivehead Village Hall in Taunton, the football club provides an opportunity for the community to learn new skills, meet friends and get active. It has grown enormously in the last few years – expanding from ten to 200 players in a decade.
Russell Kidd, volunteer coach at North Curry FC, commented: “The team’s just started playing matches this year and receiving flash new hoodies has made them all feel like part of the squad. Thank you to Bovis Homes for the generous donation.”
Beverley Rickard, Bovis Homes’ area sales manager, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor North Curry FC’s under 8’s team, which ensures the children can enjoy their sport and costs are not passed onto team players and families. The team certainly looks the part; we will be following their progress and wish them lots of luck this season!”
