Residents are invited to come together this summer as the Orchard Grove Consortium officially opens the development’s new Civic Square, which is the first dedicated public space for the community to gather and enjoy.

Taking place on Saturday 11th July from 11am to 2pm, the family-friendly event will mark a milestone moment in the growth of Orchard Grove. The Civic Square has been created as a central gathering place at the heart of the neighbourhood, and the Consortium is looking forward to celebrating its opening with the people who will use it most.

There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including children’s nature-themed crafts, free seed packet giveaways to take home and plant, giant garden games, and live performances from a local community choir.

Refreshments will be available to buy…. and the first 100 ice creams or hot drinks will also be free, so it pays to arrive early!

The event is free and open to all, and the Consortium would love to see as many residents as possible come along to mark the moment together.
