Work is taking place on the spine road, at the crossing of Comeytrowe Lane. Part of the plan for the site for years, this work will see a ‘stopping up’ order put in place, permanently closing through-access along Lipe Hill Lane/Comeytrowe Lane. As part of this work, footpath access will be added to the spine road from Comeytrowe Lane. Work will begin on 15th April and is expected to last until mid-May.
From 8th April, work will be taking place on site to dig trenches to lay cabling, replacing the current overhead cable network. This means a section of public right of way footpath will have to be fenced off for safety. The footpath can still be used, but fencing will be in place for around one month.
Also happening on site, the final fencing work is underway to enable the Pocket Park to open. The date will be confirmed shortly.
