It is anticipated that the Pocket Park will open this month, after some delays while the final finishing touches were made. The seeding is complete, overgrown grass trimmed back and paths swept – so this exciting new amenity is poised to open imminently.
This month, the team will start to put in the site fencing that will segregate site work from where pedestrians will walk the length of Egremont Road to the new primary school. This will ensure safe access for families using the new school when it opens.
All the way from the roundabout a the A38 down to the crossing at Comeytrowe Lane, the grass verges will be tended to, as some landscaping maintenance takes place this month across the site.
You may notice site compounds on the move. The Taylor Wimpey site compound has moved and this area is being readied for the arrival of the care home. The groundworks site compound will also move later in the month to prepare this area for the park and bus facility.
