A new year on site sees huge progress being made on the road network, with the spine road now leading as far as Comeytrowe Lane. Work will also take place this month the create an access road to the new primary school. And the new junction to the A38 is in its final phase of work.
Typical winter weather means much of the earthworks have stopped for now, but construction and vital infrastructure work continues. This includes the introduction of services, with water, gas and electricity installed. The retaining walls continue to be built, forming support for the soil on this sloped site.
You may also notice that the team will be removing debris from the old industrial estate as this area is cleared.
