This month, with summer in full swing and plenty of sunshine forecast, work will continue apace to create the new community around the many residents who already call it home.
Recently, a section of footpath was closed along Honiton Road to enable the team to complete work on part of the wall at the bottom of the site. The footpath is now open again and this work will soon be completed.
Drainage works continue on site, now crossing Comeytrowe Lane to reach the new pumping station that has been built. We are preparing to reroute two sets of overhead power cables, running these underground. And earthworks continue across the site.
Safeguarding the environment and ecology is of utmost importance, and this month sees the last of the bat surveys undertaken on the former industrial estate areas.
