Work to create the new junction, a roundabout connecting the A38 with the new development, is now well under way. You will see that the road markings and alignment have altered, and there are earthworks in this area ahead of new slip roads being created. Work under the ground includes lowering and raising existing services.

As has been communicated locally through a letter-drop to 5,000 local homes and businesses, through the local media, and on the website, the works are taking place at night. When travelling through the area, please be aware of reduced speeds, no overtaking, and water barriers along the side of the road.

Onsite, the team is busy preparing routes to allow access to the show homes that will soon open. Landscaping is also taking place around the areas that will soon be open to visit.

Over by the industrial park there are earthworks taking place. Now that bird nesting season is over, careful hedge removal work is taking place, in close consultation of ecological and arboreal consultants.

By the end of the month, a new retaining wall will be in place at the base of Jeffrey’s Way. Other site related work will also continue apace, including more roads being created, more drainage, and more parcels of land being handed over to the developer teams to create much-needed new homes.
