An exciting step closer, the Pocket Park is nearing completion now, with the play equipment installed and checked. The final elements of landscaping work are taking place and the plan is to open the park next month.
One side of the Pocket Park will feature a 400 square metre play area with a range of play equipment for sliding, climbing swinging, rotating and rocking, including a central piece of multi-play equipment with a slide and climbing wall.
Another project is drawing to a close; over in the industrial estate, the buildings have been taken down and this area will be finished this month. Meanwhile, over at the school site, construction continues apace, with the structure really taking shape.
Work is also continuing on the spine road, the main arterial road running right from the top of Orchard Grove down through the development. In time, this will stretch down to the bottom of the new community and create a new connection to Trull.
