Work continues to progress steadily across Orchard Grove this September, with several key developments taking place throughout the site.
Following the extreme dry weather experienced over the summer months, re-seeding work will take place at Manor Park and Highfield Park to establish healthy grass coverage as we move into the autumn. This essential work will ensure these green spaces are ready to flourish in the coming months.
Remedial works are being undertaken at the Park & Bus hub in preparation for its opening, whilst civic square works are set to commence, marking an important milestone in the development of this central community area. Meanwhile, roadworks continue in the employment land area as infrastructure development progresses.
Teams are also undertaking preparatory work in areas where newly planted trees were affected by the challenging summer weather conditions. This groundwork will enable replacement planting to take place during the optimal autumn planting season.
