The finishing touches are being made to the Spine Road, which means it will be complete for both road users and pedestrians using the adjacent footpath. It stretched from the A38 roundabout down to the new primary school.
By the 16th August, a stopping up order will be in place along Comeytrowe Lane. Part of the plan for the site for years, the stopping up order means permanently closing through-access along Lipe Hill Lane/Comeytrowe Lane.
Work on Highfield Park continues, to create a brand-new area of natural open space with public access. The park is located on one of the high points within the development, allowing extended views over Taunton to the north and views over the rolling Somerset countryside to the south.
