More work will take place at the Pocket Park this month, with the footpaths completed and the grass areas seeded – all ahead of the play equipment being installed. Our commercial area will begin to look different this month, as the groundworks compound will up sticks to make way for the area that will be transformed into the care home and the park and bus hub.
Ecology is taken extremely seriously at Orchard Grove. Ahead of the old industrial estate being demolished, a bat house is being constructed to safeguard the local bat population.
Elsewhere on site, more changes to the cabling will take place, with the overhead cables readied for removal so that essential services can be installed underground instead. A project drawing to a close is the creation of a culvert over the tributary stream – this work is set to be finished this month.
